Aerospace Engineering Department, International Institute for Aerospace Engineering and Management (IIAEM) is a collaborative venture between JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) and Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI), an initiative never attempted by regular Universities, which has received overwhelming support from academic institutions, R & D laboratories and Industrial organizations – like ISRO, HAL, AAI, NAL, Air India, BIAL, CIAL and many others. Besides involving itself in cutting edge research, the Institute will generate a pool of technical manpower skilled in Aircraft Design, Avionics, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Airport Infrastructure & Management both at the under graduate, postgraduate and research levels. The curriculum has been vetted by experts from industry and academia. IIAEM is committed and has already invested considerable effort and money. Within the next few years, the IIAEM will develop into a world-class institution for Aerospace research and education. The objectives of SIATI include stimulating Education, Training, Research Technology and Business Development in the field of Aerospace and associated industries, academic interactions both within India and with overseas organizations and encouraging collaborations in Technology tie ups, Training, Education and Business Development through joint ventures.

To establish world class institute and to provide globally relevant education, training and research and to support growth of technology and business in the field of Aerospace Engineering and Management.

Objectives

  • To provide instruction and training in specialized areas of Aerospace Engineering and Management

  • To provide for research and for the advancement of and dissemination of knowledge

  • To undertake studies on the impact of Aerospace Technologies on National development particularly rural development, connectivity and International Business

  • To do all such other acts and things as may be necessary or desirable to further the objectives (as indicated above) of the Institute

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is declared as deemed-to-be University u/s 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It is a member of The JGI Group, with nearly two decades of experience in education field. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) offers UG, PG & Research programs in the disciplines of Engineering, Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management with a vision of “Nation building through Excellence in Quality Education, Research and Entrepreneurial Development”. The University has Academic, Research & Corporate Collaborations with various International & National organizations of excellence. Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI)

SIATI was founded in the year 1991 with the basic objective to bring together various industries, R&D and other organizations in the country engaged in the field of Aerospace on a common platform to provide interaction among themselves as well as with overseas industries / organizations to enhance growth opportunities for all. The formation of the SIATI was the initiative of Dr. C.G. Krishnadas Nair, former chairman, HAL. Today, SIATI has about 300 small / medium scale industries as its members enjoy the patronage of leading Aerospace organizations including R&D in the country. The objectives of SIATI include stimulating Education, Training, Research Technology and Business Development in the field of Aerospace and associated industries, academic interactions both within India and with overseas organizations and encouraging collaborations in Technology tie ups, Training, Education and Business Development through joint ventures.
