With the fast growth of aviation sector, there is a great need for technically skilled manpower for aircraft design, avionics, manufacturing and maintenance, air traffic control, airline and airport operations. Also trained manpower in Aeronautical Engineering is in demand to support the indigenous civil aircraft design program.
The B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering offered by the International Institute for Aerospace Engineering and Management (IIAEM) – School of Aerospace Engineering, Jain (Deemed to be University) is a specialized program whose curriculum is designed to meet the current requirements of the aviation sector. It focuses on the vehicles which fly within the Earth’s atmosphere like airplane, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
The specific objective of the program is to develop aeronautical engineers with skills in aircraft / helicopter design, stress and dynamic analysis with Finite Element Method (FEM), modeling and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, control system analysis, design and analysis of avionics and propulsion systems, and testing of components and systems.
