M.Tech. in Aerodynamics engineering is a two-year fulltime program. The program provides an insight to fundamentals of Aircraft Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Wind Tunnel Theory & Testing and Aircraft Design. This program offers strong foundations in Theoretical, computational, and experimental methods of Aerodynamics. The department has dedicated laboratories equipped with wind tunnel, and small gas turbine engine. Furthermore, there is a dedicated computational facility with high-end computers and licensed engineering application software such as ANSYS-CFD, NASTRAN, MATLAB, FEAST and CAD software. The basic theory and techniques also find application in other areas such as high-speed ground transportation, hydrofoils, manufacturing processes, and noise generation. Several leading Global consultancies estimate that India will become world’s largest Aerospace clusters. The Aerospace Industry is expected to have a high growth rate which would create enormous employment opportunities. To address the growing need of Aerodynamics Engineers, Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) is offering a Master’s program in Aerodynamics Engineering.
