M.Tech. in Avionics is a two-year fulltime program. The program provides an insight to fundamentals of Aircraft Avionics Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, Landing Aid Systems and Air Traffic Control Systems. This program offers strong foundations in theoretical, experimental and design methods of Avionics Systems. The department has dedicated laboratories equipped with Radar Lab, Avionics Lab, Navigation/Communications Lab, and a state-of-the-art computational lab with licensed engineering software such as MATLAB, Lab View, spectrum analyser etc.
Several leading Global consultancies estimate that India will become world’s largest Aerospace clusters. The Aerospace Industry is expected to have a high growth rate which would create enormous employment opportunity. To address the growing need of avionics engineers, Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) is offering a Master’s program in Avionics.
Eligibility : B.E / B.Tech / AMIE in Aerospace Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Based on merit in the qualifying/ entrance exam.
The qualification required to apply for the program is a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the respective bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Duration : 2 Years (4 Semesters)
